    There is plenty to discover at Surrey Heath Museum this season, with a packed programme of exhibitions, displays and heritage events taking place in the heart of Camberley at The Square.

    Celebrating 90 Years of Local Heritage

    Running until 4th July 2026, the museum’s special 90 Years exhibition celebrates nine decades of preserving and sharing Surrey Heath’s history. Visitors can explore archive photography, historic artefacts and fascinating memories from across the years.

    Model Tank Display

    Military history enthusiasts can enjoy the impressive Model Tank Display from the collection of Gareth Thomas. The exhibition features highly detailed model tanks from different eras and conflicts, showcasing incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. The display runs until Thursday 7th June 2026.

    Walks & Talks Programme 2026

    The museum’s popular Walks & Talks programme also returns this year, with guided historic walks and engaging talks taking place throughout the summer and autumn.

    Upcoming highlights include:

    South Camberley Walk – Wednesday 27th May
    Historic Bagshot Walk – Wednesday 10th June
    90 Years of Surrey Heath Museum Talk – Wednesday 20th May
    The Creative Landscape Talk – Wednesday 21st October

    Philip Barber Art Exhibition

    Visitors can also enjoy a colourful exhibition from local artist Philip Barber, featuring original drawings and paintings celebrating still life and colour. The exhibition runs until 4th July 2026.

    Surrey Heath Museum is located at 33 Obelisk Way, The Square Camberley, GU15 3SG and is open Tuesday to Saturday, 11am – 4.30pm. Admission is free.
