Looking for family fun this summer? From free events and fantastic entertainment to creative workshops, markets and plenty of opportunities to make lasting memories, Camberley is the place to be.
Whether you’re visiting for the day or planning a summer of adventures, here’s what’s happening across The Square, The Atrium and Camberley town centre over the coming weeks.
Roll into summer at The Square
Get ready to lace up your skates as The Square’s brand-new Roller Rink arrives from 1st–30th August. Located in the unit next to Jack Wills in Central Square, the rink is the perfect activity for families, friends and anyone looking to try something a little different this summer.
The celebrations begin on Saturday 25th July, when Artful Kids will be hosting a free drop-in workshop from 11am–3pm. Children can create their very own roller skate beaded keychain before heading off to enjoy everything else the town has to offer.
Then, on Saturday 1st August, the fun continues with FREE face painting in Central Square from 11am–3.30pm. Choose your favourite design before taking to the rink and enjoying a fantastic day out.
Whether you’re a seasoned skater or giving it a go for the first time, The Square’s Roller Rink is set to be one of Camberley’s must-visit attractions this summer.
The Collectively Camberley Car Show returns
One of the biggest events in the town’s calendar is back on Saturday 8th August, as the Collectively Camberley Car Show takes over the town centre from 10am–4pm.
Expect to see more than 250 incredible vehicles displayed throughout Camberley, alongside a packed programme of FREE family entertainment including live music, face painting, balloon modelling and roaming street performers.
The hugely popular Sporting Bears Dream Rides will also return, giving visitors the chance to enjoy unforgettable rides in some amazing vehicles while raising money for charity. Since launching, the event has raised over £75,000 for good causes.
Keep an eye out too for the returning Transformers, who will be making appearances throughout the day across both The Square and The Atrium, as well as roaming the town centre.
With fantastic entertainment, great shopping, delicious food and plenty to see, it’s the perfect day out for the whole family.
Meet Chase & Skye at The Atrium
PAW Patrol fans won’t want to miss this!
To celebrate the release of PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, Chase and Skye will be making special appearances at The Atrium Camberley on Saturday 8th August.
Visitors can meet the much-loved characters and snap a photo with them between 11am and 3.30pm, outside Vue Cinema on the upper level. It’s completely free to attend, although queuing may be required due to the popularity of the event.
The Atrium will also be hosting a dog-friendly pop-up, so even your four-legged family members can join in the fun.
Support local at the Farmers & Artisan Market
If you love shopping local, make sure you visit the Camberley Farmers & Artisan Market on Saturday 15th August, from 10am–3pm.
Browse a wonderful selection of fresh local produce, handmade gifts, artisan treats and unique products from independent traders. It’s a fantastic opportunity to support local businesses while discovering something special to take home.
