A World Book Day Treasure Hunt Adventure comes to Camberley
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure as a brand-new Treasure Hunt experience arrives in Camberley town centre this World Book Day. From 14th February to 15th March, the high street will transform into an interactive outdoor adventure, inviting families, children and book lovers to explore, discover and play together.
This exciting trail is brought to you in collaboration with Love Camberley and The Atrium, turning the town into a story-filled playground like no other.
How the treasure hunt works:
Hidden across the town centre are 38 special window markers, spread across 10 themed zones. Your mission is to find them all.
Along the way, participants can:
• Scan each stop using their phone
• Meet characters brought to life in 3D augmented reality
• Collect digital stickers to complete their very own online sticker book
It’s an immersive AR experience designed to make reading fun, interactive and accessible for everyone.

World Book Day Celebrations – Friday 7th March
To mark World Book Day on Friday 7th March, the adventure gets even bigger with multiple in-centre competitions, all of which can only be entered by visiting the town centre in person on the day.
Families are also encouraged to come dressed up, as every child in fancy dress can head to the Customer Services desk on World Book Day to receive a sweet treat (while stocks last). It’s the perfect excuse to show off costumes, get involved and enjoy a day of book-themed fun.
Whether you’re hunting for every marker or just dipping into the adventure, this is a brilliant way to celebrate World Book Day while enjoying Camberley’s high street.
